Weight loss attempted alone is a very big challenge for most people, which is why so many people end up giving up a few weeks into their diet. Medical weight loss is an excellent way to lose weight and keep it off. It involves a medical doctor helping craft a unique diet and exercise plan that takes all your specific information and lifestyle in mind. Medical weight loss programs have a high success rate, because they are backed by professionals who know how weight loss works and the challenges most people face. They also have access to state-of-the-art methods to help you lose weight – something you can’t take advantage of when trying to diet on your own.
Available Diet Plans
Weight loss is a body-altering process. Going through it in an uninformed and unobserved way has risks. Different from common commercial weight loss programs, medical weight loss takes everything into consideration – not just food and exercise. Your health profile, prescriptions, hormonal profile, and metabolic rate are all factors.
At our weight loss center in South Carolina, Internal Medicine Associates & Rehabilitation, all this information is collected and analyzed by certified providers, and a unique, suitable, and safe diet plan is crafted specifically for you to reach your weight loss goal.
We will thoroughly examine you and collect significant data before assigning you one of our specialized weight loss plans, which include:
1. Quickstart Plan:
This is our most intense plan and your quickest and safest way to reach your weight loss goal.
In this plan, all your daily meals are replaced with FDA-approved supplements according to the bio-metric data collected and analyzed by your provider. No need for online shopping for the supplements, as they are available in our clinics. Continuous monitoring and follow-ups are done with your provider.
Despite being the quickest plan as per the name, it is not the only plan available at our center.
2. Modified Plan:
After some time with the Quickstart plan, your provider may recommend transitioning into our Modified plan, which is a version of our Quickstart plan. However, it’s uniquely modified to suit your needs. In this plan, only some of your meals (breakfast and lunch) are replaced with FDA-approved supplements. Low-calorie dinner meals with recipes and recommendations from your provider are provided for you to incorporate into your diet. In some cases, instead of transitioning to the Modified plan, you may be assigned to our Ease-In plan or our Maintenance plan.
3. Ease-In Plan:
This plan has a slower rate of weight loss than other plans, but offers less restrictions, so you are less impacted day-to-day by your diet. However, it is just as safe and effective as our other plans. In this plan, you will be advised on how calories work and how to calculate your daily need of calories. Meal replacements are available, if desired.
4. Maintenance Plan:
As the name implies, this is not where your weight loss process starts. However, being able to maintain the healthy weight you worked so hard to achieve is a crucial part of the process – some might say it is the most important part. If you are concerned that you might gain back the weight you lost, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered with our Maintenance plan. You will learn how to calculate your caloric needs in different situations. You will attend regular follow-ups with your provider to keep your health in check. This will ensure you maintain your weight loss for years to come.
