Joel Duncan, MD

Dr. Joel Duncan is a native of Dallas, Texas. He is a practicing cardiologist and, for nearly twenty years, has provided cardiac care for patients of the midlands.

Dr. Duncan received his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and his medical training at Texas Tech. He left Texas to attend Wake Forest University for his residency and then moved to Columbia for his cardiology fellowship.

The early part of his career was spent in Florence, SC, where he helped start Advanced Cardiology Associates. In 1994, he moved back to Columbia, where he became a partner in Palmetto Cardiology Associates. Since 2015, Dr. Duncan has been PCA's managing partner.

Although having left Texas some years ago, Dr. Duncan is still an ardent Dallas Cowboys fan and lives and breathes blue and white each football season.
