Lauren Francis, APRN

Nurse Practitioner Lauren Francis is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Lander University. Lauren has worked as a Registered Nurse at Palmetto Health Richland in the NICU, and at Lexington Medical Center in the Operating Room. Lauren received her Masters of Science in Nursing degree from South University Columbia. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Lauren has a special interest in preventive medicine, as well as weight loss and its correlations with comorbidities such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia. When in the office, Lauren enjoys getting to know her patients one-on-one and helping them become accustomed to healthier eating habits, and meeting their weight loss goals. Outside of taking care of patients, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. Lauren also enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time on the lake.
